Challenge
Local Bee came to me with a simple idea and no design. The concept was solid: create a platform that makes mentoring easy—for mentors and mentees. But they had no product, no visuals, no site, and no real brand. They needed something that felt warm, modern, and easy to understand, even for someone new to the whole mentorship thing.
Solution
We started from zero: I built out the brand feel, UX flow, and full visual identity in one sprint. I designed the entire platform experience and built a Framer site with a clean minisite structure and waitlist form to support their soft launch. It was all about clarity, trust, and personality—without overwhelming users.
Mentorship platforms usually feel stiff. This one doesn’t. I got to design something that feels like sending a friendly text, not filling out an application.

Closing Thoughts
This was one of those scrappy builds I love. I got to help shape a new product from the ground up, and the founder was genuinely amazing to work with. Simple idea, solid mission, clean execution.
