Challenge
After designing and launching sites for clients nonstop, I realized my own portfolio didn’t really reflect what I’m capable of. It felt outdated, overly polished, and a little too “portfolio-y.” I needed something that felt more like me. fast, opinionated, and unapologetically direct. The challenge? Design something that looks great, converts, and still feels personal — without spending weeks obsessing over it.
Solution
I built danielgbright.com in Framer in just a few days, keeping things super focused. Clear hierarchy, bold statements, minimal fluff. I skipped unnecessary animations and focused on fast load times, solid SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Every section was crafted to make startups go “yep, this is the guy.” And since I work across platforms like Webflow, Jitter, and Bolt, I made sure the whole vibe says: clean design, sharp execution, let’s go.
wanted something that could speak for me even when I’m not in the room. It’s bold, clean, and gets to the point.

Closing Thoughts
Designing your own portfolio is always the hardest. But this time, I treated myself like a client: set a goal, set a deadline, and executed. Now I’ve got a site that reflects how I work and who I am: fast, collaborative, and a little bit cheeky. If you’re a founder looking to launch something great, this site is your first proof I get it done.
